Marta González is working as representative in Mexico of Sales at Joe Piper Incorporated.
During her college years she was an exchange student twice in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. She graduated from Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana in Mexico City, with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.
She worked in the folding carton industry for 22 years. Started 1989 and worked her way up to become Folding Packaging Division Director of a major paperboard converting plant, managing all aspects of Design, Pre-press, Operations and mainly the Sales Team. It is Design and engineering of packaging her true passion.
In 2011 she became part of Joe Piper’s family and teamed up with Kelly McDaniel, so together they have developed an interesting market in major cities of Mexico. Her knowledge of technical aspects in offset printing and general manufacturing of paperboard packaging is Marta’s advantage for suggesting the best solutions to our customers when using our products.
Marta has been married for 40 years to Vicente Duhart. She enjoys as much as she can spending time with her family: Son Edrick and daughter Astrid and families, proud of two granddaughters.
She enjoys reading, her favorite authors: Spanish writer Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Chilean novelist Isabel Allende and South African writer and adventurer Wilbur Smith.
